Romans 3:23-24 NIV for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.

Good morning and praise God. I hope you're having a great day. Let's rethink this verse that most of us Christian has heard or read many times. Paul is addressing believers in Rome. At this point he proves that all justified through grace of Jesus Christ. We are bought back and accepted as children of God though the grace of God. This demistifies the lie that being born in Christian families, going to a certain denomination, being prayed to by a certain big pastor, reciting a certain prayer, being baptised, being good and kind, going to church and many other works we do can save us. Imagine all those works no matter how good they cannot save anybody, you can do all that and end up rejected in Heaven! Imagine being busy in church headed to Hell! What saves a person is their believe in Jesus Christ as the only Son of God; a gift of grace of God to us! Accepting Jesus Christ as your LORD and Savior matters more than all your good works in your redemption. It is the start of a new life as child of God. It is the license given us to eternal life as John 3:16 reminds us. The good part is that Jesus has promised that He will not reject anyone who comes to Him. John 6:37. Shall you come to Jesus Christ today as your LORD and Savior? Will you cast all your burdens to Jesus? Jesus calls "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me..” Your good works and your efforts will have their purpose after this important step.
