THE PILGRIMS GUIDE WEDNESDAY APRIL 22, 2026 ACCEPTING THE REALITY OF CHRIST'S SACRIFICE A WORD FROM THE WORD: "I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me." Galatians 2:20 NKJV. Our anchor text expresses the idea of recognising and internalising the significance of the death and resurrection of Christ as a transformative truth in your life. The cross is a representation of, not only His sacrifice, but our identification and participation in His death, and resurrection as well. And so, one of the very important aspects of knowing the LORD Jesus is understanding and accepting the reality of His sacrifice. Reflect on the new life and freedom that has been availed you by the virtue of His sacrificial and vicarious death on the cross, then spend time and make a forensic audit of the depth of His sacrifice for you. Pray to the Father to give you a deeper revelation of the Cross and its implications so that you can be well-equipped in your daily life and walk with Him.
