TODAY'S MESSAGE

SERMON TITLE: THE COVENANT OF LONG LIFE

There are people who fear death more than they understand life.
They wake up anxious, live cautiously, and expect the worst—because they have not yet understood that long life is not luck… it is a covenant.
God never designed you to live short, fearful, or wasted days.
He designed you to live full, impactful, and satisfied years.
The question is not: “Will I live long?”
The real question is: “Am I living in the covenant that guarantees it?”

KEY BIBLE VERSES.
1. Psalm 91:16
"With long life I will satisfy him and show him My salvation."
This is not a suggestion—it is a divine promise. God doesn’t just give long life; He gives satisfying long life—life with meaning, peace, and fulfillment.
2. Exodus 23:25–26
"You shall serve the Lord your God… I will take sickness away from the midst of you… the number of your days I will fulfill."
Here, long life is tied to service and obedience. When you align with God, He commits to preserving your life.
3. Proverbs 3:1–2
"Do not forget my law… for length of days and long life and peace they will add to you."
Obedience to God’s Word is not restriction—it is preservation.

4 STRUCTURED POINTS

1. Long Life Is a Covenant, Not a Coincidence
You don’t stumble into long life—you walk into it through alignment with God.
A covenant means God has already done His part. The question is: Are you doing yours?
2. Obedience Sustains Life
Disobedience shortens destiny.
Every instruction from God is designed to protect your future.
Sin may be pleasurable, but it carries consequences that drain life—spiritually, emotionally, and physically.
3. Your Tongue Can Lengthen or Shorten Your Life
What you say matters.
“I will not live long”
“Things will just end badly for me”
These are not harmless words—they are life-altering declarations.
Scripture says life and death are in the power of the tongue. Speak life if you want to live it.
4. Purpose Preserves Life
People who discover purpose rarely die early.
Why? Because purpose gives heaven a reason to sustain you.
When your life is tied to God’s assignment, your existence becomes necessary.

REAL-LIFE / BIBLICAL STORY
Consider King Hezekiah (2 Kings 20).
He was sick unto death, and the prophet told him, “Set your house in order, for you shall die.”
But Hezekiah turned to God, prayed, and reminded God of his covenant relationship.
What happened?
God added 15 more years to his life.
This shows something powerful:
Long life can be negotiated within the covenant.
PRACTICAL ACTION STEPS

1. Commit to daily obedience – small obedience builds long-term preservation.
2. Speak life consistently – declare God’s promises over your life.
3. Avoid destructive habits – physically and spiritually.
4. Stay rooted in God’s presence – prayer and the Word are life sources.
5. Live with purpose – find and fulfill your assignment.
DEEP SPIRITUAL INSIGHTS

Long life is not just about years—it’s about divine satisfaction.
You can be alive but not truly living; God wants you to experience fullness.
The covenant of long life is activated through relationship, not religion.
Fear shortens life; faith extends it.
QUESTIONS FOR REFLECTION

Am I living in alignment with God’s Word daily?
What habits in my life could be shortening my destiny?
What am I consistently speaking over my future?
Am I living with purpose or just existing?
POWERFUL PRAYER POINTS

1. Father, I receive the covenant of long life in the name of Jesus.
2. Every power assigned to shorten my days, be destroyed now!
3. Lord, align my life with Your will so I can walk in divine preservation.
4. I reject premature death—I shall live and fulfill my purpose!
5. Father, satisfy me with long life and show me Your salvation.

STRONG CLOSING CALL TO ACTION

You cannot claim long life while living carelessly.
You cannot expect preservation while ignoring God’s principles.
Today, make a decision:
To walk in obedience
To speak life
To pursue purpose
To stay connected to God
Long life is your covenant right—but it must be consciously lived out.
Stand up spiritually and declare:
“I WILL NOT DIE BEFORE MY TIME.
I WILL LIVE LONG, STRONG, AND FULFILL MY DESTINY!”
Now go and live like someone who knows…
your life is secured in God’s covenant.
