True Lights in the Dark In the midst of my storm, I realized the greatest blessing that came from my suffering: the truth. Through God’s grace, I finally saw the real colors of everyone around me. Those who once called themselves friends, and even some I thought were family, vanished like smoke when the darkness grew deepest. They were there only for the sunshine, but gone the moment the rain came pouring down. They left when my name was tarnished and my hands were empty. But in their absence, I found something far more precious. With Jesus holding my heart, I was able to recognize the few who truly stayed. They did not leave. They did not judge. Instead, they became the light I desperately needed. While the world turned away, they held up a lamp, guiding my steps so I would not stumble in the shadows. Their presence was warm, their support firm and solid, never breaking even when things were hardest. I may have lost many, but with my faith in Jesus and these few genuine hearts walking beside me, I know I have everything I need to keep going.
