📘 Daily Devotion — April 26 | Mark 6:12 (NKJV) 💯 A Message That Changes Lives Mark chapter 6 records the moment when Jesus sends out His twelve disciples to minister in surrounding villages. He gives them authority to preach, heal, and cast out demons. Their mission was clear and focused. They went out and preached that people should repent. Repentance was central to the message of Jesus and the early disciples. To repent means to turn away from sin and turn toward God. It involves a change of heart, a change of mind, and a change of direction in life. The call to repentance was not meant to condemn but to invite people into restoration with God. The disciples carried a simple but powerful message. God’s kingdom was near, and people were invited to respond. Through repentance, lives could be renewed, forgiveness could be received, and a new relationship with God could begin. This verse also reminds believers that following Jesus includes sharing His message with others. The gospel is not meant to remain hidden in our hearts. It is meant to be spoken and lived out so that others may hear the invitation to turn toward God.
