Our journey doesn't end in the valley; it ends in the presence of the King, surrounded by a great multitude!
The blood of Jesus didn't just cover our sins; it washed us white as snow, making us fit for the heavenly assembly. Because He sought us and bought us with His redeeming blood, we are no longer strangers but citizens of the Kingdom, destined for an eternal victory.
Keeping our eyes on the "heavenly prize" changes how we value things on earth. We realize that our struggles are momentary compared to the eternal weight of glory. Today, live as one who knows where they are goingтАФwith a stride full of hope and a heart full of victory.
The Great Multitude
This scripture reveals the diverse and massive scale of GodтАЩs redeemed family.
Revelation 7:9 (BSB)
тАЬAfter this I looked and saw a multitude too large to count, from every nation and tribe and people and tongue, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and holding palm branches in their hands.тАЭ
You are part of a global, eternal movement that cannot be stopped.
The Conqueror's Promise
See the standard of victory we are called to walk in right now.
Romans 8:28; 31-35; 37-39 BSB
28 And we know that God works all things together for the good of those who love Him, who are called according to His purpose.
31 What then shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
32 He who did not spare His own Son but gave Him up for us all, how will He not also, along with Him, freely give us all things?
33 Who will bring any charge against GodтАЩs elect? It is God who justifies.
34 Who is there to condemn us? For Christ Jesus, who died, and more than that was raised to life, is at the right hand of GodтАФ and He is interceding for us.
35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or distress or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?
37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor principalities, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers,
39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
"More than a conqueror" means the battle was won for you, and you get to enjoy the spoils.
Beloved:
I call you to march to the beat of heaven! Do not let the world's rhythm slow you down. I call you to rise up and take your place in the "great cloud of witnesses." Your testimony is powerful and your future is secure in the hands of the Saviour.
Reject the fear of death and the dread of "not being enough." Reject the lie that your best days are behind you. Emphasize the truth that you are being gathered into a kingdom that cannot be shaken. Live today with the joy of the redeemed!
Prayer:
Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank You for the victory I have in my Saviour.
I reject every feeling of insignificance and every fear of the end. I receive my identity as a child of the King, washed by the blood and filled with the Spirit.
Holy Spirit, remind me today of the heavenly hope that awaits me. Help me to live with an eternal perspective, sharing the message of salvation with everyone I meet.
I declare that I will go marching in with the saints, forever praising the Lamb who was slain!
