*🕊 DOMINION DAILY DEVOTION ~ DAY 116*
*DATE: 26TH APRIL 2026*
*TOPIC: SHARING THE GOOD TIDINGS THROUGH INTERCESSION*
*ANCHOR SCRIPTURE: COLLOSIANS 4:12 (NKJV)*
“ *Epaphras
always laboring fervently for you in prayers, that you may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.”*
*Devotional Message:*

We have seen that sharing the good tidings of Christ is expressed through preaching the gospel and through acts of love by sharing what God has entrusted to us. Yet there is another vital dimension—intercession.

Epaphras demonstrated this ministry faithfully. Though he was not always physically present, he labored fervently in prayer for the believers, that they might stand firm, mature, and complete in the will of God. His prayers became a spiritual covering for others.

Beloved, intercession sustains what evangelism begins.

Jesus Himself is our perfect example. He prayed for His disciples and for all who would believe. When the enemy desired to sift Peter, the Lord assured him that He had prayed for him so that his faith would not fail. This reveals the sustaining power of prayer even in times of testing.

In the same way, those who come to Christ must be upheld continually in prayer so that they may remain steadfast in faith. The journey of salvation is not without opposition, and prayer becomes a shield that preserves and strengthens believers.

Furthermore, ministers of the gospel, missionaries, and fellow brethren require our prayers. They face spiritual battles, pressures, and resistance. As we intercede, we strengthen their hands and uphold them in their calling.

Even when they are unaware, our prayers speak on their behalf before God.

Sharing the good tidings is not complete without intercession.Let it be your daily practice to lift others before the Lord—your family, brethren, leaders, and all believers. Pray that they may stand firm, grow in faith, and remain faithful to the end.

As you stand in the gap for others, God uses you as an instrument to preserve lives and establish His people.

*Prayer:*

Heavenly Father, I thank You for the privilege of standing in the gap for others. Teach me to labor faithfully in prayer. Strengthen my heart to intercede for my family, brethren, and leaders. Let my prayers uphold others and cause them to stand firm in faith. Use me as a vessel to preserve destinies and advance Your Kingdom. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

*Daily Bible Reading:*
Colossians 4:7–18, Luke 22:31–34, 1 Timothy 2:1–4, Ezekiel 22:30
