*TOPIC: A SURRENDERED LIFE: THE MARK OF A TRUE AMBASSADOR*
*ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:— 2 CORINTHIANS 5:20 (NKJV)*
*“Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ…”*
*Devotional Message:*
God has called us to be His ambassadors on earth—His representatives in every sphere of life. This means that wherever He has placed us, we are to reflect His nature and advance His Kingdom.
However, this calling is only fulfilled through a life of surrender.
Surrender begins with giving ourselves fully to God—our heart, mind, body, and will. Before God requires our possessions or service, He desires us. A surrendered life is one where nothing is withheld, and God has full authority.
Abraham exemplified this life. When God called him, he left his country and kindred, trusting God completely. Even when asked to offer Isaac, he did not withhold, demonstrating that his heart was fully yielded to God.
The disciples also lived surrendered lives. They gave themselves entirely to Christ and the gospel. Despite persecution, opposition, and even the threat of death, they remained steadfast. Their lives were no longer their own—they belonged fully to God.
This teaches us that surrender is the foundation of effective representation. Without surrender, we cannot fully reflect Christ. But when we yield ourselves completely, God works through us according to His will.
Beloved, God is not first after everything else—He must be first above all.
*Prayer:*
Heavenly Father, I thank You for calling me to be Your ambassador. I surrender my life fully to You—my heart, my mind, my body, and my will. Take full control and use me according to Your purpose. Help me to put You first in all things and to live a life that reflects You. Let my life be a vessel through which Your glory is revealed. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
