THE PILGRIMS GUIDE TUESDAY APRIL 28, 2026 THE GIFT OF GOD-GIVEN SPEED A WORD FROM THE WORD: "And it came to pass in the meanwhile, that the heaven was black with clouds and wind, and there was a great rain. And Ahab rode, and went to Jezreel. And the hand of the Lord was on Elijah; and he girded up his loins, and ran before Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel." 1 Kings 18:45-46 From the context of our anchor Scripture we can evidently see what divine advantage over strength looks like. The mighty hand of God upon Elijah, the prophet made the difference in the meeting between him and King Ahab, and will do so any given situation between children of God and people of the world. King Ahab rode on horse but Elijah outran him on feet because the hand of God was upon him, and that is what you would rightly describe as the gift of God-given speed.
