THE PILGRIMS GUIDE WEDNESDAY APRIL 29, 2026 FROM DARKNESS TO LIGHT A WORD FROM THE WORD: "Immediately, something like scales fell from Saul’s eyes, and he could see again. He got up and was baptized;" Acts 9:18 NIV. Our topic conveys the idea of the restoration of physical sight, but beyond that, the context of our foundational text expouses the spiritual enlightenment that comes with the transformation as seen in the broader context of conversion and revelation as clearly evident in Saul's experience, and readily available in those who truly experiences spiritual recovery of vision. When the notorious Saul (Paul) encountered the LORD Jesus, apart from the physical recovery of his sight, he was set free spiritually. There is divine hope for everyone to regain humanity, sanity, purity and spiritual insight. Some folks are so blind and corrupt at the same time that they no longer see anything unjust in their actions. Several others are blinded by addictions of all sorts and are helpless. But there's light at the end of the tunnel; when you, like Paul, the apostle, brings to bear the illumination that comes from your spiritual recovery of sight, powered by the love of Christ on these folks as the LORD causes you to cross their paths, the effect and change would be glorious.
