THE PILGRIMS GUIDE THURSDAY APRIL 30, 2026 SONSHIP AND IDENTITY IN CHRIST A WORD FROM THE WORD: "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:" John 1:12 KJV There are processes required of a person to become a son of God. 1). Receive Him: This is realised when one *accepts* Jesus as LORD and personal Saviour (John 1:2; John 3:3) 2). Believe in Him: It is not enough to receive Him, but you must go further to believe in Him wholeheartedly. In order to benefit from person, cause, project or something, you must believe that it is beneficial. But the above is not the end of the road, the power to be must be maintained with the following: Maturity, this is required, for a child to become a son. Think about a child with knife, chances of injuring self is there. Discipleship is a must, a process that cannot be done away with. You must be Spirit-led. Have a right personal relationship with the LORD Jesus. You must let the word of God dwell richly in you in every positive aspects.
