📘 Daily Devotion — May 4 | Mark 7:37 (NKJV) 💯 He Does All Things Well Mark chapter 7 concludes with the account of Jesus healing a man who was deaf and had difficulty speaking. The people brought the man to Jesus and begged Him to place His hand on him. Jesus took the man aside from the crowd, touched his ears, and spoke a command. Immediately the man’s hearing was restored and his speech became clear. The crowd responded with amazement. They declared that Jesus had done all things well. Their statement reflects more than just surprise at a miracle. It reveals recognition of the goodness and authority of Christ. Throughout the ministry of Jesus, His works consistently revealed the character of God. Wherever He went, He brought restoration, healing, and hope. His actions demonstrated both power and compassion toward those in need. The phrase He has done all things well also echoes the truth seen throughout Scripture that God’s works are perfect and purposeful. Even when people do not fully understand His ways, His work is always good. For believers today this verse reminds us that the work of Christ in our lives is always guided by wisdom and love. There may be moments when circumstances seem confusing or difficult, but God’s purposes remain trustworthy.
