Hi. My name is Joshua McCormick. I am half white/half Colombian. I speak Spanish. I am a U.S. Air Force Veteran. I served four years in Security Forces. I was in Germany and Cyprus. I have also traveled to Colombia and Ireland to visit family. I am a High School History Teacher; certified in World History, U.S. History, Oklahoma History, Geography, Economics, and Government. My final goal in education is to become an LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) for my masters. I can be a councelor in school and outside of school. I am also a missionary. I've been to Mexico twice and Vietnam twice on mission trips. My main missions goal is to get to Haiti. I am trying to raise support. I am part of a team of missionaries called Hope Beyond Borders led by Pastor Winston Bui. Our sister organization is Impactful Missions led by Elisha Chan. We provide food, rice, beans, and oil to the hungry. We have a school in Haiti and sponsor children. We currently have K -2nd grades but are adding more buildings to support future grades. We also have a Women's clinic for pre and post natal health. Our Healthy Women's Instiative takes care of expecting mothers. We have a place for missionaries to stay, sleep, and eat at. We also do missions trainings there as well. It is called Theo's Place. It is named after the close friend of Luke of whom the Book of Acts is addressed to.
