Good morning brothers and sisters. May we always remember to forgive those who have hurt us, who have betrayed our trust and broken our hearts. As the word of God says:

Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord: looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled; lest there be any fornicator or profane person like Esau, who for one morsel of food sold his birthright. For you know that afterward, when he wanted to inherit the blessing, he was rejected, for he found no place for repentance, though he sought it diligently with tears. - Hebrews 12:14-17

May the Lord Jesus Christ grant us the grace to let go of the past and to seek peace and reconciliation with our families. Let our conduct and the posture of our hearts be acceptable in the sight of the Lord Jesus Christ.

For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. - Matthew 6:14-15

Let us not look to the world for its example. Let us not imitate those who serve their flesh. Let us walk as a light in the darkness for the lost are drawn to the light of heaven.

And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them. - Romans 1:28-32

Let the souls that we have been called to save see our conduct so they too may one day call upon the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved from destruction. May any form of religious hypocrisy be far from us. Lord God Almighty, grant us hearts that do not despise the truth, but accept correction when you speak through those you send into our lives to guide and protect us from the consequences of sin. Father God, help us to examine our hearts and our lives fully, being honest with ourselves and with You, the King of Glory, the One who sees all and knows all.
May we honor You, Lord, on this day and seek Your glory and walk after Your goodness.
In Jesus Mighty Name
Amen

Do not enter the path of the wicked,
And do not walk in the way of evil.
Avoid it, do not travel on it;
Turn away from it and pass on. - Proverbs 4:14-15
