Faith

Fear. It's like the uninvited guest who shows up early, eats all the snacks, and refuses to leave. Whether it's fear of failure, rejection, illness - or just Monday - it's something we all wrestle with. But Scripture doesn't tell us to pretend fear doesn't exist. It tells us to confront it with something far stronger: Faith.

Hebrews 2:14-15 reminds us that Jesus entered our human mess to defeat fear at its root - the fear of death. Through His death and resurrection, He broke the chains of fear and handed us the keys to Freedom. In other words, Jesus didn't come just to comfort us in fear. He came to Conquer it.

Fear isolates. It clouds our thinking, hijack our peace, and whispers lies like,"You're on your own". But the Gospel shouts louder: You Are Never Alone. God is not just aware of your fear - He is in the battle with you.

At the root of most lies the big one: Death. And yet, Christ turned death from a period into a comma. Paul reminds us in Romans 8 that nothing - not life, not death, not your worst day - can separate You from God's Love. That's not just comfort for the dying; that's Power for the Living.

*So, how do we fight fear practically?

1) Don't be surprised by it. Faith doesn't mean fear evaporate; it means fear doesn't get the final say. Jesus doesn't scold us for fear - He calls us to Trust in the middle of it.

2) Remember the right kind of fear. The Bible speaks of the "Fear of the Lord" as the beginning of wisdom. That's not terror - it's awe. It's the kind of reverence that reoders your fear and reminds you Who is actually in charge.

3) Let Faith Grow. Not by trying harder, but by staying closer. Faith is a fruit of the Spirit, not a product of hype. Spend time in God's word, talk to Him, and stay connected to His people.

*Fear may knock on your door, but it doesn't get to move in. Christ Already Claimed Your Heart - and He's not Leaving.

*Today, I beg of you to choose Faith over Fear. Not because you're fearless, but because He Is Faithful. And when He is your Champion, No Battle is too Big and No Fear is too Strong.
