TODAY'S MESSAGE
INSECURITY IS OVERWHELMING — GOD ARISE, LET THE ENEMIES BE SCATTERED
We are living in days where fear has become a daily companion for many people.
Families are afraid. Communities are afraid. Nations are afraid.
People lock their doors, but still cannot lock out anxiety.
Some are not only fighting physical insecurity — they are battling emotional insecurity, financial insecurity, spiritual insecurity, and fear of the future.
Many believers are asking: “God, where are You in all this?”
But hear the Word of the Lord today:
> “Let God arise, let His enemies be scattered…” — Psalm 68:1
When God rises, confusion bows.
When God rises, fear disappears.
When God rises, every enemy loses power.
The battle may be intense, but Heaven has not lost control.
Key Bible Texts
Psalm 68:1
> “Let God arise, let His enemies be scattered: let them also that hate him flee before him.
This verse is not a motivational slogan; it is a declaration of divine authority.
The enemies scatter not because of human strength, but because God Himself steps into the situation.
Isaiah 10
> “Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God…”
God does not promise the absence of battles.
He promises His presence in the battle.
2 Chronicles 15
> “The battle is not yours, but God's.”
Some battles are too heavy for human wisdom.
There are moments when only divine intervention can save a situation.
WHAT IS INSECURITY?
Insecurity is anything that steals peace, stability, confidence, and safety.
It may appear as:
Terror and violence
Fear of failure
Fear of rejection
Economic hardship
Spiritual oppression
Anxiety about tomorrow
The enemy uses insecurity to weaken faith and silence purpose.
But God did not create His children to live under permanent fear.
POINT 1 — WHEN GOD ARISES, FEAR LOSES ITS VOICE
Fear speaks loudly until faith begins to speak louder.
When the disciples were in the storm, panic filled the boat.
But when Jesus stood and spoke, the storm obeyed.
Mark 39
> “Peace, be still.”
One word from God can silence years of fear.
Deep Spiritual Insight
Many believers are trying to fight spiritual battles with emotional strength.
Fear cannot be conquered by motivational speeches alone.
It is conquered through revelation of God's presence.
Action Steps
Speak God's Word daily over your life.
Refuse negative confessions.
Build a strong prayer life.
Stay connected to faith-filled believers.
POINT 2 — THE ENEMY THRIVES WHERE PRAYER DIES
One of Satan’s greatest strategies is to weaken the prayer altar.
A prayerless believer becomes vulnerable to fear, temptation, and discouragement.
When Israel was attacked, Moses lifted his hands in prayer, and Israel prevailed.
Exodus 11
> “And it came to pass, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed…”
Victory was connected to spiritual posture.
Deep Spiritual Insight
Some battles around us are not merely political or physical.
There are spiritual forces behind confusion, violence, hatred, and destruction.
Prayer invites divine intervention.
Action Steps
Create a daily prayer schedule.
Pray with your family.
Fast regularly.
Replace panic with worship.
POINT 3 — GOD SOMETIMES ALLOWS PRESSURE TO REVEAL HIS POWER
The Red Sea looked like the end for Israel.
Enemies behind them. Water before them. No escape.
But impossible situations become platforms for divine miracles.
Exodus 13
> “Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord…”
God specializes in making a way where there is no way.
Biblical Case Study — David and Goliath
Israel was terrified of Goliath.
Soldiers shook in fear.
But David arrived with confidence in God.
Others saw a giant.
David saw an uncircumcised Philistine standing against the living God.
The same battlefield that produced fear in others produced testimony for David.
Lesson
Faith does not deny danger.
Faith declares that God is greater than danger.
POINT 4 — GOD IS STILL A DEFENDER OF HIS PEOPLE
Psalm 1
> “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.”
God is not absent from the troubles of His people.
The believer carries divine covering.
This does not produce carelessness; it produces confidence.
Deep Spiritual Insight
Security is not first a location; it is a covenant.
A man hidden in God carries supernatural preservation.
Action Steps
Live in obedience to God.
Avoid compromise and sinful associations.
Fill your home with prayer and the Word.
Trust God without surrendering to fear.
QUESTIONS FOR REFLECTION
1. What fear has been controlling your heart lately?
2. Have you allowed insecurity to weaken your faith?
3. Is your prayer altar still burning?
4. Do you truly believe God can fight your battles?
5. What area of your life needs God to arise today?
POWERFUL PRAYER POINTS
1. Father, arise and scatter every enemy fighting my peace in Jesus’ name.
2. Every spirit of fear and anxiety, lose your hold over my life.
3. O Lord, surround me and my family with divine protection.
4. Every conspiracy against my destiny shall fail.
5. Father, revive my prayer life and strengthen my faith.
6. Every power sponsoring insecurity around my life and community, be destroyed in Jesus’ name.
7. Lord, give me boldness to trust You even in difficult times.
8. Let the fire of the Holy Spirit consume every hidden attack against my future.
Call to Action
Child of God, this is not the time to surrender to fear.
Darkness may be increasing, but the power of God has not reduced.
The same God who delivered Daniel from lions, protected David from Saul, and preserved Israel through battles is still alive today.
Do not let fear rule your heart.
Do not let insecurity silence your faith.
Do not let the enemy convince you that God has abandoned you.
Stand up in prayer.
Stand up in faith.
Stand up in holiness.
Stand up in confidence.
And declare boldly:
> “LET GOD ARISE, LET HIS ENEMIES BE SCATTERED!”
Amen.
