*ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:Matthew 5:16 (NKJV)*
*“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”*
*Devotional Message:*
We were not created to live ordinary and self-centered lives. God designed us to live lives of impact—lives that influence, transform, and point others toward Him.
Our perfect example is Jesus Christ.
Though many teachers and scholars existed in His day, Jesus stood out because He lived to express the will of the Father. Everywhere He went, lives were touched and transformed. The sick were healed, the oppressed were delivered, the blind received sight, and those bound by the enemy were set free.
Jesus understood the heart of the Father.
When He encountered the woman who had been bound for eighteen years, He did not ignore her condition. He loosed her because bondage was not God’s desire for her life. His ministry consistently revealed the compassion, power, and saving purpose of God.
Likewise, Scripture teaches that God desires all people to come to the knowledge of truth and experience His saving grace. We have therefore been called to shine as lights in a dark world—revealing God’s nature through our words, actions, and service to others.
Beloved, true impact is not measured merely by popularity or recognition, but by how much our lives reflect Christ and bring transformation to others.
A life of impact:Reveals the love of God,Leads others from darkness into light,Encourages, uplifts, and restores and Glorifies God rather than self.
When we surrender ourselves to God and seek His will above our own, He uses us as vessels through which His light shines to the world.
Choose to live intentionally. Seek to reveal Christ wherever God has placed you. Allow His love, truth, and power to flow through your life.For when you live to express the will of God, your life will become a testimony that transforms others and brings glory to Him.
*Prayer:*
Heavenly Father, thank You for calling me to be a light in this world. Help me to live a life that reflects Your will and brings glory to Your name. Use me to touch lives, encourage the broken, and lead others into Your truth. Let my words, actions, and character reveal Jesus daily. May my life be a vessel of impact for Your Kingdom. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
