Exodus 31:1-5 NIV Then the Lord said to Moses, “See, I have chosen Bezalel son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, [3] and I have filled him with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, with understanding, with knowledge and with all kinds of skills—to make artistic designs for work in gold, silver and bronze,to cut and set stones, to work in wood, and to engage in all kinds of crafts.

Good morning and praise God. The saying that God equips the one He calls has been used more than often to encourage believers to accept duties and responsibilities bestowed upon them. This must have been drawn from observation of real life and from the Biblical episodes themselves. If you have been long enough in church, you must have witnessed uplifting of some people you never thought would be used for certain purpose in Church. Looking at our Bible, we see how Jesus choose people who were in different carriers, some despised but all in all equipped them for His work. David is also an example of the same. In our verse for the day, we see God equipping this man called Bezalel with understanding and knowledge for working with silver and gold inorder to build the ark of covenant. I don't know whether you've witnessed God using you to do things you never thought you were capable of in life and most importantly in ministry. Personally I have witnessed God do so from time I was a small boy. Sometime it would take great courage and inner conviction to stand and obediently do what God wanted done. Sometimes it would even result in backslash but God Has always fought His battles. You know, the joy of being used by God to do something is that you stop fearing and cling to faith. You stop worrying about what others will say or think or even judge of you. Today I encourage you to step up and obediently do that which God has equipped you for in life. Put that faith to action and great things will happen. It is a noble opportunity that God Has given you so that you can experience the joy of being a co-worker Him. God loves you, have a blessed day. Shalom. Shalom.
