* DOMINION DAILY DEVOTION ~ DAY 129*
*DATE: 9TH MAY 2026*
*TOPIC: LIVING A LIFE OF IMPACT_2*
*ANCHOR SCRIPTURE: MATTHEW 6:6 (NKJV)*
*“But You, when You pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place…”*
*Devotional Message:*

Yesterday we began looking at living a life of impact and saw that Jesus stood out because He understood the heart of the Father and sought to express Him to the world. Another powerful secret behind His impactful life and ministry was His devotion to the secret place.

Jesus was a man of continual communion with the Father.Scripture records that early in the morning He would withdraw to pray, and at other times He spent entire nights in prayer. Before public ministry, there was private fellowship. Before visible results, there was hidden consecration.His public impact was sustained by His private altar.

Everywhere Jesus went, lives were transformed because He remained connected to the Father through prayer and the Word. The miracles, wisdom, authority, and compassion displayed openly were first cultivated in the secret place.

Beloved, the same principle applies to us today.A life of lasting impact cannot be sustained apart from communion with God. Prayer is not merely a religious activity—it is fellowship, alignment, renewal, and empowerment. In the secret place, our spiritual strength is renewed, our hearts are purified, and divine wisdom is imparted.

Daniel also exemplified this truth. Even under threat and opposition, he remained faithful in prayer. His consistency in the secret place sustained his wisdom, excellence, and influence across different kingdoms and generations.

This teaches us that true impact is first spiritual before it becomes visible physically.Whether in ministry, business, leadership, family, career, or community, lasting influence flows from a life rooted in God’s presence. The secret place becomes the source from which grace, wisdom, strength, and discernment flow.

Do not neglect the secret place.Guard your time of prayer, fellowship, and meditation on the Word. Build a consistent altar before God.For the depth of your private communion with God will determine the strength of your public impact.

Just as it was with Jesus, Daniel, and David, may your life be powered by continual fellowship with the Father.

*Prayer* :

Heavenly Father, draw me deeper into fellowship with You. Teach me to value the secret place and to remain consistent in prayer and in Your Word. Strengthen my spiritual life and let my communion with You produce wisdom, grace, and lasting impact. May my private altar sustain my public life and assignment. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
