*🕊️ DOMINION DAILY DEVOTION ~ DAY 130* *DATE: 10TH MAY 2026* *TOPIC: LIVING A LIFE OF IMPACT_3* *ANCHOR SCRIPTURE: 1 Peter 4:12 (NKJV)* *“Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you.”* *Devotional Message:* Another important secret to living a life of impact is embracing the process of preparation and allowing God to complete His work in you before unveiling you publicly. Every vessel God uses greatly must first pass through seasons of training, refining, and preparation. John the Baptist was formed in the wilderness before he was revealed to the nation. It was from that hidden place that men came to him, confessing their sins and being baptized. His authority in public was born from a life prepared in secret. Jesus Himself also embraced the process. At the age of twelve, He was found among teachers, listening and asking questions. Later, He was led by the Spirit into the wilderness, where He fasted for forty days and nights. Scripture records that He returned in the power of the Spirit, and afterward His ministry impacted multitudes for three and a half years. David too passed through seasons of preparation. Before the throne came the wilderness, the caves, and the battles. The cave of Adullam was not a place of rejection alone—it was a place of formation. There God built his character, dependence, courage, and leadership. Beloved, never despise your wilderness season. The process may feel hidden, painful, slow, or misunderstood, but it is often where God develops:Spiritual strength,Character and humility,Dependence on Him and Capacity to carry influence. Endurance for longevity in assignment Without preparation, results can destroy a man. But when God trains His servants, He builds the capacity needed to sustain impact without drifting away from Him. The wilderness is therefore not punishment—it is preparation. Do not rush ahead of God’s process.Allow Him to train, refine, and prepare you. What feels like delay may actually be divine formation.For when God finishes preparing a vessel, the impact of that life cannot easily be shaken. May you remain faithful in every season, knowing that your preparation is connected to your future influence and assignment. *Prayer:* Heavenly Father, help me to embrace every season of preparation You allow in my life. Teach me patience, obedience, and dependence on You. Refine my character, strengthen my spirit, and build in me the capacity to carry Your purpose faithfully. May I not despise the wilderness, but understand that You are preparing me for greater impact.
