*“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.”*
*Devotional Message:*
Another vital secret to living a life of impact is possessing the wisdom that comes from above.
Divine wisdom gives solutions, direction, discernment, and strategy. It reveals what to do, when to do it, and how to do it. Through wisdom, men become carriers of answers to the problems of their generation.
The life of Joseph clearly demonstrates this truth.When Pharaoh received troubling dreams concerning the coming famine, it was not human intelligence that preserved nations—it was the wisdom of God operating through Joseph. Divine wisdom provided a strategy that safeguarded the land during years of crisis and positioned Joseph as a solution carrier to his generation.
Daniel also stood out because of heavenly wisdom.Scripture records that Daniel and his companions were found ten times better than others in wisdom and understanding. This wisdom caused Daniel to remain relevant and influential across different kingdoms and rulers. His excellence was not rooted merely in natural ability, but in divine insight and understanding granted by God.
Likewise, Solomon became renowned because of the wisdom God bestowed upon him. Kings and nations came to hear his wisdom because divine wisdom distinguishes a man among many.
Beloved, impact is not sustained merely by zeal or desire alone—it requires wisdom from above.This wisdom:Gives divine strategies,Produces solutions for complex problems,Brings excellence and discernment,Positions believers as answers to their generation and Sustains influence across seasons and systems.
The wisdom of this world is limited, but the wisdom from God is pure, enduring, and life-giving.That is why James encourages believers to ask God for wisdom confidently, knowing that He gives generously to those who seek Him.
Do not rely solely on human understanding.Seek the wisdom that comes from God through prayer, His Word, and fellowship with the Holy Spirit.For when divine wisdom rests upon a person, they become a vessel of solutions, influence, and lasting impact to their generation.
