Then the five men departed, and came to Laish, and saw the people that were therein, how they dwelt careless, after the manner of the Zidonians, quiet and secure; and there was no magistrate in the land, that might put them to shame in any thing; and they were far from the Zidonians, and had no business with any man. Look at this.
1. These were careless like the Zidonians
2. They were far or distant from other people
3. They had no business with other people
4. They were quiet and secured.
5. No leader to hold them accountable.
And when the invaders came, there was no way to escape and no one to call for help.
Many of us are living like this. You cannot be careless and still be secured and successful in life. Some people distant themselves from others with the thought they don't want the problem from people but when the problem of life comes, they will have no one to call for help.
Lesson:
1. Be care conscious - mind what you say, what you do, and how you live.
2. Consciously build a relationship that you can call and can stand with you in times of emergencies.
3. Learn not to live on your own.
4. Don't in anyway destroy and talk against those that have stood for you in time past. They may respond faster when you are in challenge than your new acquaintance.
5. Have someone that correct and call you to order.
DON'T BE CARELESS WITH LIFE AND PEOPLE.
