Do not allow the spouse the Lord has sent pass you by because of their appearance. Do not allow what is more valuable than rubies to slip away because they are not the right skin color, the right height or because you allowed their beauty to lead you to the wrong husband or wife.
This is why we are to wait until marriage for physical intimacy and to not allow lust and fornication to sway us, to bind us, and to snare us to the wrong person.
The wrong husband or wife can lead you down the path of Solomon, the path of unbelief.
The hour is late. When the time comes to stand for your faith, can you trust that person to remain standing beside you? Or will the cares of this world and the opinion of man drive them away from the faith?
Can they withstand the storm? Is their life built upon the rock? Or is it an act built upon sand that collapses and drags you down with it.
Seek the Lord daily in prayer and in His word. Then the Lord shall order your steps and tell you the way in which to go. The Lord Jesus Christ rewards those who seek Him diligently, who give the things of God priority above all else in their lives.
Surrender, truly surrender your search for a spouse to the Lord. Submit to the will of God and allow the Lord to grant you discernment and wisdom that shall be like a crown upon thy head.
But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. - Matthew 6:33
