There are wounds that changed the way you see yourself. Maybe someone left and made you feel unlovable. Maybe failure made you feel worthless. Maybe words spoken over your life became chains around your mind. But people’s actions do not define your value. Your pain does not define your identity. In Isaiah 43:1, God says, “I have called you by name; you are Mine.” Imagine that. The Creator of the universe claiming you even after everything you’ve been through. That means your brokenness never canceled your worth.
