TODAY'S MESSAGE LET ALL THINGS BE DONE DECENTLY AND IN ORDER God Is Not the Author of Confusion We are living in a generation where disorder is becoming normal. Many people are talented but undisciplined. Busy but unproductive. Spiritual but disorderly. Homes are in confusion. Churches are in confusion. Relationships are in confusion. Even personal lives are filled with chaos. But God never operates in confusion. Where God truly reigns, there will be: Order Peace Discipline Structure Clarity The Bible says: 1 Corinthians 14:40 > “Let all things be done decently and in order.” This is not merely a church instruction. It is a kingdom principle. God is saying: “Do not live carelessly, disorderly, or irresponsibly.” A life without order eventually leads to frustration and destruction. Key Bible Verses 1 Corinthians 14:33 > “For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace…” Confusion is not God’s design. God operates through divine order. Genesis 1:1–3 God created the world with structure and sequence. Creation itself reveals that God values order. Ecclesiastes 3:1 > “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose…” God works with timing and arrangement. Colossians 2:5 > “...joying and beholding your order…” Spiritual order brings strength and stability. 1. God Operates Through Order From creation to redemption, scripture reveals a God of order. God organized: The heavens The earth Seasons Worship Leadership Families The church Even Jesus operated intentionally. He prayed at specific times. He taught with structure. He selected disciples carefully. He fulfilled prophecy systematically. Disorder wastes energy. Order increases effectiveness. Spiritual Insight Many people pray for breakthrough while ignoring the disorder in their lives. Sometimes the miracle begins with discipline and alignment. 2. Disorder Opens Doors to Confusion and Failure A disorderly life produces unnecessary struggles. Examples: Financial disorder leads to debt Spiritual disorder weakens faith Emotional disorder damages relationships Time disorder destroys productivity Many people are not under attack from demons alone; they are suffering from lack of order. Some believers pray for success but: Wake up without direction Neglect responsibilities Mismanage time Live without planning God blesses diligence and wisdom. 3. Order Reflects Spiritual Maturity Spiritual maturity is not noise. It is responsible living. A mature believer learns: Self-control Discipline Consistency Accountability Anyone can be emotional for a moment. But steady, ordered living reveals growth. Galatians 5:22–23 One fruit of the Spirit is self-control. A Spirit-filled life should not be chaotic. 4. The Church Must Reflect God’s Order The apostle Paul gave instructions because confusion had entered the church. People were speaking carelessly during worship gatherings. Everything became noisy and disorderly. Paul corrected them firmly. Why? Because disorder can distract people from God’s presence. Church activities should reflect: Reverence Excellence Peace Coordination Wisdom God deserves our best, not confusion. 5. Divine Order Prepares Us for Greater Responsibility God often tests people with little responsibilities before entrusting them with greater assignments. If someone cannot manage: Time Commitments Finances Personal discipline How will they manage greater blessings? Spiritual Insight Many delayed destinies are connected to lack of preparation and order. God may give vision, but discipline sustains it. Biblical Case Study: Nehemiah Rebuilding Jerusalem When Nehemiah arrived in Jerusalem, the city was broken down and disorganized. But he did not panic emotionally. He: Assessed the situation Created a strategy Assigned responsibilities Organized the workers Stayed focused despite opposition Because of order, the wall was rebuilt successfully. This teaches us: Great restoration requires structure, discipline, and wisdom. Practical Action Steps 1. Bring Order to Your Spiritual Life Create consistent habits: Prayer Bible study Worship Fellowship Stop living spiritually without direction. 2. Manage Your Time Wisely Time is a gift from God. Avoid: Laziness Procrastination Endless distractions. Use your days purposefully. 3. Organize Your Priorities Not everything deserves equal attention. Put God first. Family matters. Purpose matters. 4. Be Faithful in Small Responsibilities Small acts of discipline prepare you for larger opportunities. 5. Remove Sources of Confusion Identify areas creating disorder: Wrong relationships Bad habits Financial irresponsibility Spiritual inconsistency. Deal with them prayerfully and intentionally. Am I preparing responsibly for the future God has for me? Powerful Prayer Points 1. Father, remove every spirit of confusion and disorder from my life. 2. Lord, help me to live with wisdom, discipline, and excellence. 3. Holy Spirit, teach me to manage my time, priorities, and responsibilities properly. 4. Every area of chaos in my family, finances, ministry, and destiny, receive divine order in Jesus’ name. 5. Lord, make my life a reflection of Your peace and structure. 6.
