After the man walked away unwilling to surrender his wealth, Jesus explained how difficult it is for those who trust in riches to enter the kingdom of God. The disciples were astonished and asked Then who can be saved Jesus responded with this powerful truth: With men it is impossible but not with God for with God all things are possible. The disciples had begun to realize that salvation could not be achieved through human effort, status, wealth, or personal goodness. Left to ourselves, we cannot save or transform our own hearts. What is impossible for humanity becomes possible through the power and grace of God. This verse reveals the limitless power of God. He is able to change hearts, provide salvation, restore broken lives, and accomplish what human strength cannot achieve. The gospel itself is built on this truth. Human effort could never overcome sin, but God made a way through Jesus Christ. For believers today this verse reminds us not to limit God based on human understanding or circumstances.
