Dear Father,

I've come to realize that judging Christianity as false because of the existence of false prophets is a trait of biblical ignorance--their existence is a fulfillment of biblical prophecy. The Scripture says: “If any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders...”

I'm often disturbed when I see individuals online posing as prophets, yet speaking and acting in ways that contradict Christ’s very nature. As a result, the comment sections of such posts are often filled with people questioning the validity of Christianity and even Your existence. Are they being reasonable, or simply ignorant?

Previously, I directed my prayers toward the exposure of false prophets, but was I also acting from a place of ignorance? While such prayers are not entirely out of place, I believe the greater focus should be on the enlightenment of Christians.

False prophets are only as successful as the degree to which we, as Christians, remain ignorant. If we truly knew “The Way,” we would not fall victim to deceit. If we understood that deception would arise, we would not judge truth by the existence of counterfeits. Perhaps the first pointer to the success of false prophets lies in the ignorance of Your own children.
