God's desire for us is to be conformed to Christ, not in person but in nature and character. He wants our character, attitude, behaviour and way of life to be the expression of the nature and character of Jesus Christ. This means the focus of the believer is to learn to adapt, adjust to and adopt the nature, character and attitude of Jesus and begin to live it out on a daily basis.
Our study of the Word, daily prayers and fellowship must be directed to becoming like Christ in our character and lifestyle.
