Prayer Ministry-1

Syllabus-11

"Lord, you will hear my voice in the morning; in the morning I will look to you for help."
Psalm 5:3

David was the sole king over millions of Israelites. He had to look after all the affairs of the kingdom. There were many kingdoms around him, which attacked him whenever they got the opportunity. For this, he had to spend his whole life fighting. He also had to keep a close eye on his military forces, so that they did not rebel. He had many wives and children. He also had to spend a lot of time building palaces for each of them. In addition to all this, he had to make many arrangements to build a temple for God. In short, he was a thousand times busier than we are. Yet he regularly offered prayers to God every day. He did not stop at praying just once. He prayed seven times a day (Psalm 119:164). What a strange man he was! One wonders how he could have seven times as much time in such a busy life. And this is why he was so successful in his life. His success was based on his prayers.

We make excuses for not praying. We are better at making excuses for not praying than at praying. But when we consider the life of David, our successful excuses fade away. For those who love the true God, there is no difficulty in making time for prayer. David rose at midnight to praise God after a hard day’s work. Psalm 119:62. His whole life was one of prayer.162

... "Pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks, for in Christ Jesus

"This is God's will for you." 1 Thess 5:18.
