Waiting for the Harvest

Galatians 6:6-10

Let the one who is taught the Word,
Share things with the one who teaches;
All the good things that he has heard,
And spread to all that out-reaches.

God is not mocked, be not deceived,
For what one sows, that will they reap;
In the truth that someone received,
Also, will they cherish to keep.

To his own flesh the one who sows,
Will from the flesh reap putridness;
Because that the temptation knows,
In reaping the pervertedness.

Whoever sows to the Spirit,
Shall be reaping eternal life;
Resulting from righteous merit,
Although temptation causes strife.

Grow not weary for doing good,
For in due season, we shall reap;
Never give up on what we should,
Keep vigilant and do not sleep.

Let’s do good as we have the chance,
Especially to your household;
As you let your faith to advance,
Letting righteousness to unfold.
