The Authority of the π™±πšŽπš•πš’πšŽπšŸπšŽπš›

The ability to speak to mountains is not a special gift reserved for apostles and prophets.

Jesus says β€œwhoever.” That is one of the most powerful words in the New Testament. It is the same word He used when He said β€œwhoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16, NKJV).

The gospel is for whoever. And so is the authority to speak to mountains.

This authority flows from what Christ accomplished in the finished work.

Ephesians 1:19-23 describes the resurrection power of God that raised π™²πš‘πš›πš’πšœπš 𝚊𝚜 β€œfar above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named” (NKJV).

And then Paul says in Ephesians 2:6 that God has β€œraised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus” (NKJV).

Your authority to speak to mountains is not generated by your own spiritual achievement. It is inherited by your position in Christ.

When you speak to a mountain, you are not speaking from your own strength. You are speaking from the position of someone who is seated with Christ, above the very forces that produced the mountain in the first place.
