Many people escaped from poverty physically, but poverty never left their mindset.
Some left sinful environments, but the environment still lives inside their habits.
Others gave their lives to Christ, but they still carry inherited fears, anger, addictions, bitterness, and ungodly patterns.
Your background can become a silent voice that keeps pulling you backward while God is trying to move you forward.
The enemy knows this truth:
If he cannot stop your future, he will use your past to fight your destiny.
That is why you must be spiritually alert.
