As Good As Gold

Numbers 23:19 YHWH is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

Everyone has heard the saying “My word is as good as gold”. The saying means your promise holds unwavering integrity, carries absolute certainty, and is as reliable as a physical bar of gold.

Oh, the promises of YHWH! He tells us in the above scripture that he is not going to lie to us. There's an old song that we used to sing in our assembly, and part of it says " The answers on its way. This I know. YHWH said it. I believe it, and it's so! " This is so true, we can believe all the promises in his word. YHWH would not say something and not fulfill it, aka wouldn’t lie.
