PURPOSEFUL STEADFASTNESS
A WORD FROM THE WORD:
"So I replied by sending this message to them: 'I am engaged in a great work, so I can’t come. Why should I stop working to come and meet with you.' Four times they sent the same message, and each time I gave the same reply." Nehemiah 6:3-4 NLT.
When you know you’re doing those great things you're called to do to the glory of God and benefit of humanity, and the mockers are bent on distracting your focus, attention and efforts, do not give in to their antics to stop, rather raise your level of concentration and focus on your tasks and responsibilities.
Nehemiah showcases a focused commitment to mission project of rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem, in spite of their adversaries distractions and diversonary efforts to derail the goal.
In the course of purposeful steadfastness, there's every need for unwavering dedication to your assigned task and mission. Hear Nehemiah's response, 'I am engaged in a great work, so I can’t come.' This underscores the importance of remaining steadfast and focused on your assignment and goals in the face of distractions and challenges to deviate.
