Prayer Ministry-7

Syllabus-17

"Continue in prayer, being watchful in this with thanksgiving."
Col 4:2.

Most of our prayers are formal prayers. We should pray, that's why we do it. But if we want to enter the ministry of prayer, we must be engaged in prayer. There is a big difference between praying and being engaged in prayer. Students go to class all year round, and when they come home and practice their studies, their study habits are no longer routine. Then they start practicing the studies with deep concentration. They have no time to eat, drink or sleep. They are always thinking about something. The exam is ahead. Their future life depends on this exam. If they fail, a year will be wasted. How far they will fall in life. How much they care so that they can pass well and get into the class. They do not want to waste any time. They practice their studies with concentration. This can be an example of being engaged in prayer. When we have a strong desire for the Lord's work in our hearts, and when we feel a sense of responsibility for this, our prayers also rise above the limits of regular prayers. Then we do not have to pray forcefully. Prayer then becomes a companion of our spiritual life. The random thoughts of the mind are automatically suppressed. The pressure of other work cannot make our life too unstable. Pull the red flag

"My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God?" Psalm 42:2.
