Good morning church of the Most High, the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
A building requires a foundation upon which it stands. What is the foundation upon which your day stands?
Do your thoughts go first to the Lord? To give Him thanks and to meet with our Lord in prayer? In worship?
Or do your thoughts go directly to your circumstances? To the cares, to the pleasures, to the idols of this world and all its distractions? To your screen on your phone to scroll?

A solid, strong, steady foundation is one built on routine, something that you do each and every morning. It is best to begin your day with prayer and worship, meeting with the Lord so He can guide you and prepare you spiritually for what lies ahead.
We plan things. We make mighty plans for our days in full confidence that our day will go according to our plans. But if you've spent time on the earth then you may have noticed that things don't always go according to your plans.
The Lord Jesus Christ knows the future. Would you not want to hear a possible warning for a situation the enemy has waiting for you after lunch? Or maybe there is a great blessing awaiting you if you choose not to follow your friends that day.

The Holy Spirit equips us for battle. The Lord anoints us with oil from heaven. Our King and our God fights for us when we surrender our day to His will and not our own.
What does the Lord Jesus Christ want from you on this day? What direction does the Lord want to give you for when you are at work or school or visiting a loved one in the hospital later today?

In prayer and in worship are not the only places the Holy Spirit meets with His children. When we read the Word of God, the Lord Jesus Christ is also there, waiting. God Almighty is waiting there to feed you and to guide you and to transform and deliver you. The answers you need, but may not want, lie within the pages of scripture.
The living Word of God is alive and it is a weapon.
It sets frees the captive, it refreshes the weary, broken hearted soul. Within the pages of His Word is where you encounter the glory of the Lord Himself. There are days when you will not be the same person after reading what the Holy Spirit has waiting for you.

The Lord thy God rewards those who seek Him diligently each and every morning. Those who desire to know the Lord, to be led by the Holy Spirit, and to be used as a vessel of the Lord's grace, mercy, and love for the lost, broken, and hurting, must first build a foundation in the Lord.
Without prayer, worship and the Word of God in your life as your daily bread you will never have any form of breakthrough or victory over the kingdom of darkness.

Surrender your day to the Lord and the Lord shall direct thy path. The Lord will equip those who seek Him. Those who prioritize the Lord each and every day will see just how mighty our God can be.

Church, please join me in prayer.

Father God, we come before Your throne of majesty and grace. We offer You our praise and our thanksgiving. We worship You, O God, and we love You because You first loved us. We come before You because You made a way through the blood of the Lamb.

Father, we surrender our day to You and to Your will. Reveal to us, Father God, what Your will for us is on this day that You have made.
Equip us, Lord Jehovah, for whatever obstacles and whatever battles may be waiting ahead on our path.
Go before us, Lord God, and grant us victory over the schemes of the enemy. Reveal any hidden snare. Reveal to us, O God, the character of those who we call friends. Let not the enemy deceive us with false friends or scheming allies.
We place our full trust with You, Father God, because You love us. You desire what is best for our hearts and our souls. May we never forget that, O Lord.

Lord God, we call upon You and ask You to strengthen us and to focus our minds on what pleases You. Stir within us a passion that burns hotter and hotter for intimacy with Your Holy Spirit. Burn within us, Father God, and burn away all that needs to go.

Lord Jehovah Jireh, send forth your angels to tear down the works of the enemy and to guide and protect our steps. Place them on our left side and our right side as we go forward in Your Spirit. Go before us, Lord God Almighty, for we cannot do anything without Your Spirit. We need You, Lord God, to go with us, to lead us to the Promised Land.

We are Your flock, Lord God. For those of us who lead and protect a flock that You have entrusted into their hands, may they always remain humble in Thy sight. May they remember always that You are watching. Everything, Lord God, including the finances of what is supposed to be Your house. May they be wise with the blessings You have bestowed into their hands.

Father God, draw us into worship with the true Holy Spirit. Let every lie and deception of the enemy fall away dead in the light of Scripture. May those who walk after another spirit encounter the true Living God of Israel, full of POWER and AUTHORITY.

Holy Holy Holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was, who is and who is to come.

We bless Your holy Name.

Thank You, Father, for the divine knowledge of who You are and for Your salvation.
