*🕊️ DOMINION DAILY DEVOTION ~ DAY 152* *DATE: 1ST JUNE 2026* *TOPIC: STANDING IN THE PLACE OF VICTORY* *ANCHOR SCRIPTURE: 1 JOHN 5:4 (NKJV)* *"For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith."* *Devotional Message* Every believer is called to live a life of victory, but victory is only experienced when we stand in the place that God has ordained for triumph. Throughout Scripture, men and women overcame impossible situations because they stood in a place of faith, obedience, and trust in God. Jesus, our perfect example, stood in a place of victory. He trusted completely in the Father and remained steadfast in the Word of God. When Satan tempted Him in the wilderness, He did not rely on human wisdom or strength. Instead, He responded with the Word, saying, “It is written.” His confidence in the Father's Word enabled Him to overcome every deception and triumph over the enemy. Abraham, the father of faith, also stood in a place of victory. When God called him to leave his homeland and journey to an unknown destination, he obeyed by faith. He trusted God's promises even when circumstances seemed impossible. His faith positioned him to become the father of many nations. Likewise, the blind man whom Jesus anointed with mud received his miracle because he obeyed the instruction of the Lord. Though the command may not have made sense naturally, he acted in faith and returned seeing. Naaman also triumphed over leprosy when he humbled himself and obeyed the word of the prophet by washing in the Jordan River seven times. His victory was found in obedience to God's instruction. These examples teach us that victory is not accidental. It is experienced by those who stand upon God's Word, trust His promises, and obey His leading. Faith positions us for triumph, while obedience enables us to walk in the victory that Christ has already secured for us. Child of God, whatever battle, challenge, or opposition you may be facing today, choose to stand in the place of victory. Stand upon God's Word. Trust His promises. Follow the leading of the Holy Spirit. As you do, you will discover that victory is not something you are trying to attain—it is something Christ has already provided for you. Victory belongs to those who stand in faith, trust God's Word, and obey His instructions regardless of circumstances. *Prayer:* Heavenly Father, thank You for the victory You have given me through Christ Jesus. Help me to stand firmly upon Your Word and to trust You in every situation. Strengthen my faith and teach me to obey Your instructions without hesitation. May I walk daily in the victory that Christ has secured for me.
