On the Depth of Peace – "Beyond Stillness and Noise"
There is a fundamental difference between "calm" and "peace." Calm is a state where the place is free from noise, while peace is a state of the heart being filled with God amidst the noise.
The world seeks calm as a prerequisite for happiness, but Christ gives us peace as the strength to face life.
Imagine your life is a ship; the world around you is a stormy sea, but Christ is the immovable anchor. Christian peace is a state of "conscious surrender": where the mind realizes that matters are beyond its control, but the heart realizes that God holds the reins of everything.
This kind of peace does not just grant you peace of mind; it grants you the "courage to decide" in the most difficult moments.
Do not wait for the sea to calm down to set sail. Build your peace in the depths of your heart. The Christ who silenced the storm with one word is capable of silencing the turmoils of your soul.
"Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you." (John 14:27)
Have you ever experienced a moment where your heart was at peace despite all the noise around you? Write your testimony; it encourages others.
