* DOMINION DAILY DEVOTION ~ DAY 157*
*DATE: 6TH JUNE 2026*
*TOPIC: ESTABLISHED FOR THE SAKE OF OTHERS*
*ANCHOR SCRIPTURE: 2 SAMUEL 5:12 (NKJV)*
*"So David knew that the Lord had established him as king over Israel, and that He had exalted his kingdom for the sake of His people Israel."*
*Devotional message:*

David came to the realization that God had established him as king not merely for his own benefit but for the benefit of God's people. His position, influence, authority, and favor were all connected to a greater purpose beyond himself. God raised him up so that through his leadership, the nation of Israel could experience peace, justice, protection, and prosperity.

The same truth applies to believers today. Every blessing, gift, revelation, opportunity, position, and resource entrusted to us carries a purpose beyond ourselves. God does not bless us merely so that we can enjoy His goodness privately; He blesses us so that we can become channels through which His goodness reaches others.

The early church understood this reality. Those who possessed lands, resources, and wealth willingly shared with those in need. They recognized that what God had entrusted to them was not solely for personal enjoyment but also for the advancement of God's kingdom and the care of His people. As a result, the church grew in influence, unity, and impact because people witnessed the love of God being expressed through His people.

Therefore, whether God has blessed you with salvation, revelation, finances, influence, leadership, ministry, education, a successful career, a thriving business, or a stable family, remember that these blessings are not solely for your own benefit. God has positioned you where you are so that others may experience His love, kindness, provision, wisdom, and grace through your life.

At the same time, we must be careful not to despise the grace that God has placed upon others. Sometimes the blessing, wisdom, counsel, or breakthrough we seek is closer than we realize. Yet familiarity, pride, or outward appearances can blind us from recognizing what God has deposited in those around us. We can stand near grace and still fail to benefit from it if we refuse to honor what God has placed within others.

Child of God, ask the Lord to give you a steward's heart. Understand that your life is part of a bigger purpose. You are blessed so that others may be blessed. You are established so that others may be strengthened. You are favored so that God's glory may be revealed through you.

God establishes and blesses His people not only for their benefit but so that they may become instruments of blessing, hope, and transformation to others.

*Prayer:*
Heavenly Father, thank You for every blessing, opportunity, and privilege You have entrusted to me. Help me to remember that all I have comes from You and is meant to serve Your purposes. Give me a generous heart that seeks to bless others and reveal Your love through my life. Teach me to honor the grace You have placed upon others and to steward faithfully every resource and position You have given me. May my life bring glory to Your name and benefit to Your people. In Jesus' name, Amen.
