A Found Poem,
Fluent: John O'Donohue
I would love to live life.
Flowing gently through time,
A leaf on the water;
Drifting on aimlessly,
Following the seasons.
Like a river that flows.
My heart and thoughts travel,
Passing through this strange world;
Nurturing those I pass,
Collecting memories.
Carried by the surprise.
Of each new encounter,
I embrace each moment;
Captured like a firefly,
Delicate to behold.
Of its own unfolding.
The river of time flows,
Taking me to places;
The Spirit of God leads,
Revealing Christ's sunrise.
