Daily Devotion — June 13 | Acts 1:14 (NKJV)
The Power of Praying Together
After Jesus ascended into heaven, the disciples returned to Jerusalem and gathered together as He had instructed them. They were waiting for the promise of the Holy Spirit, but they did not wait passively. Acts 1:14 tells us that they devoted themselves to prayer with one accord. In a time of uncertainty and anticipation, prayer became their source of strength, unity, and dependence upon God.
