A complaint that sometimes comes up from brethren when I’m sharing the gospel is not talking enough about repentance. The late Stephen Hill (who preached very confrontational sermons) got born again and delivered from drug addiction after a Lutheran vicar had him say the name of Jesus over and over. Steve pointed out he didn’t go through the Four Spiritual Laws or some other popular evangelism method. Romans 10:13 says, “For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
