If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land: Isaiah 1:19
This Scripture reveals three groups of people, but God is really interested on the third group.
First, there are people who are willing, but are not obedient. These people always have a reason for not obeying. If they eventually obeyed, it is by force. Biblical example, Jonah.
Second, there are people who are obedient but not willing. These people obey grumbling, murmuring, and complaining and as a result their obedience is not from a perfect heart. Example, Amaziah.
Third, there are people who are willing and obedient. They are not just willing but obedient. They derive joy and pleasure obeying God. They are always on the look for what to do to please the Lord. They are instant at doing the will of the LORD. They pay every price necessary to obey God. Example, Abraham.
God wants us to be in the Abraham class. FATHER we receive grace to be willing and obedient to your leading in Jesus mighty name.
