Good morning, brethren.
1. Morning devotion for today.

MD.i. MORNING TEA. THE WORD FOR TODAY. FRIDAY JUNE 19, 2026.
"DECISION, DISCIPLINE AND DETERMINATION"

'It is sin to know what you ought to do and then not do it.’ James 4:17 NLT

BRIAN TRACY says: ‘There are so many good things you can do, that your ability to decide may be the critical determinant of what you accomplish. If you’re like most people, you’re overwhelmed with too much to do and too little time. Mark Twain once joked that if first thing every morning you eat a frog, you’ll go through the rest of the day knowing that’s the worst that can happen! Your ‘frog’ is the most important task
the one you’re likely to procrastinate on
the one that can have the greatest positive impact
Treat it as a personal challenge
resist the temptation to start with the easier task. If you ‘eat’ it first, it’ll give you energy and momentum for the rest. Success is determined by the habits you develop. Setting priorities, overcoming procrastination and getting on with the most important task is a mental and physical skill, learnable through practice and repetition until it becomes a permanent part of your behaviour. Once it becomes a habit, it’s automatic and easy to do. When you complete a task of any size or importance, you get a surge of energy. It triggers the release of endorphins that give you a natural ‘high.’ The ‘rush’ that follows makes you feel more positive, personable, creative and confident.’ What you put off until tomorrow, you’ll put off again tomorrow. Plus, it’s ‘sin to know what you ought to do and
not do it.’ Success requires decision, discipline and determination. Make the decision, discipline yourself until it becomes automatic and stay determined until it becomes part of who you are.

MD.ii. CAN WE POSTPONE GOD'S JUDGMENT?

"Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son." - John 3:18

The Bible shows us that intercession and prayer can delay God's judgment. Repentance and rebirth even stop God’s judgment. We see this in Genesis 18:17, when God says to Himself: ‘Shall I hide from Abraham what I am about to do?’

God was planned to destroy the sinful cities of Sodom and Gomorrah. God decided to trust Abraham, but when Abraham heard what God was about to do, Abraham thought about his cousin Lot and his family who lived in Sodom.

Intercede for others

Abraham starts to pray and intercede with God. Years later we read that Moses and king David did the same for the people of Israel. Jesus Christ was and is also doing this; He is the best Person to pray and intercede on our behalf with the Father. Do you see how important it is that we, children of God, also intercede with God?

The world in which our children grow up, is worse than we can imagine. But we as the children of God are able to delay the just but also terrible judgment of God to the world. We can delay it by praying and interceding, but also by working hard so many souls will safely enter the Ark of salvation (Jesus).

There will come a time when sin-level reaches its full measure, however by praying and interceding we are able to move the heart of God. Romans 5:20 says that when sin increases, God’s grace increases even more. We have a message for this world: Jesus Christ is the Ark of salvation! Be an intercessor on behalf of others! And help preach this gospel by praying for us and supporting us financially. Do what you can, yes, even beyond your ability, to win souls before the judgment comes.

2. Morning Prayer for today.

MP.i. Morning Prayer

Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring [it] to pass. ⏀ Psalm 37:5

The great thing is to be always on the watch for God’s hand, to be ready to see His will and to do it joyfully. ⏀ George MacDonald

Almighty God, our heavenly Father, we worship You with the beginning of this new day. Life can be beautiful and good, only as it has Your blessing on it. We give this day to You, and we give ourselves to You. We are indeed Yours. You created us, and You also redeemed us. We are not our own, for we are bought with a very high price. Help us to glorify You in all that we do.

Accept our hearty thanks for the rest and all the goodness of the past night. We have slept and awakened, for You have sustained us. We thank You for our home and all its blessings and mercies. We thank You . . .
For the morning's light and for its health,
For our opportunities and privileges,
For the goodness and mercy that follow us always.

We confess our sins. We have erred and strayed from Your ways like lost sheep. We have done those things which we ought not to have done. We have left undone those things which we ought to have done, and there is no soundness in us. You have promised that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Grant us Your forgiveness and Your peace.

As we go out today, we know not what lies before us. The paths are all hidden from our eyes. We know not what dangers, what surprises of temptation or of sorrow may await us. But we are not afraid to go into the day, for You know all that is before us. So we put our hands in Yours, and we ask You to lead us forth. We shall be safe with You, no matter what may come. Lead us where You will and provide for us wherever we go. We ask in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
