True Friends 2
My close friends detest me. Those I loved have turned against me. Job 19:19 (NLT)

No one is your friend until they show you that, not just once, but repeatedly, that they are. Because the harsh truth is, most people will only be with you when it's in their best interest. But the moment you fall, you'll see how many people will actually care at that time. A true friend is someone who unconditionally supports, respects, and accepts you for who you are. They are constants in both the good times and the bad.

People are often attracted to what you offer. It could be your interest, your status, your money, your influence. As long as you are a source of comfort, entertainment, or benefit, they are around. But what happens when life takes another turn? When you can't win anymore? That is when they disappear like smoke. No, not even goodbye, but a quiet exit, as if your value ended the moment your life stopped being comfortable for them. Be not only sincere as a friend, be sensitive as well. This is your day.

Wisdom Fountain: “True friends are rare treasures that anchor us during life's storms and elevate our joy.”
Prayer: Thank You Father Lord God for the gift of companionship and the desire You have placed in my heart for true friendship. Lord, I ask for the gift of discernment as I navigate my relationships. Open my eyes to see the true motives and character of those around me. Help me to set healthy boundaries and to value those who honor and uplift me in Jesus’ name.
