* DOMINION DAILY DEVOTION ~ DAY 178*
*DATE: 28TH JUNE 2026*
*TOPIC: CHOSEN TO BE FRUITFUL – 7*
*ANCHOR SCRIPTURE:Proverbs 11:30 (NKJV)*
" *The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and he who wins souls is wise."*
*Devotional message:*

We continue with our series, Chosen to Be Fruitful. Over the past few days, we have seen that God expects every believer to bear fruit. We have also learned that pruning is an essential part of becoming more fruitful. In the coming days, we shall focus on specific areas in which every believer is called to bear fruit. One of the most important of these is soul winning.

Soul winning is the very heartbeat of God. Scripture reveals that God desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. He is patient with humanity, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. Likewise, heaven rejoices over one sinner who repents more than over ninety-nine righteous people who need no repentance. This demonstrates the immeasurable value that God places on every soul.

The Apostle Paul raises an important question in Romans: "How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?" This reminds us that people cannot believe in Christ unless someone shares the Gospel with them.

Therefore, every believer has the responsibility of making Christ known. Soul winning is not reserved for pastors, evangelists, or missionaries alone—it is the calling of every follower of Jesus Christ. We bear fruit when we share the Gospel with family members, friends, neighbours, colleagues, and those whom God places in our path. We can also proclaim Christ through our conversations, our testimony, our social media platforms, and by supporting evangelistic work through prayer and financial giving so that the Gospel may reach those who have never heard it.

The early church understood this responsibility. Wherever they went, they preached Jesus Christ and the power of His resurrection. As a result, many believed, lives were transformed, and the church continued to grow. Their fruitfulness was evident because they made Christ the centre of their message.

Child of God, never forget that winning souls is one of your highest privileges and responsibilities. While your career, business, education, and other responsibilities are important, your primary assignment is to represent Christ and make Him known wherever He sends you. As you faithfully share the Gospel, God will use your life to bring many into His Kingdom.

Every believer is called to bear fruit through soul winning by proclaiming Jesus Christ and participating in the advancement of His Kingdom.

*Prayer:*

Heavenly Father, thank You for saving me through Your Son, Jesus Christ. Fill my heart with compassion for the lost and give me boldness to share the Gospel wherever You send me. Help me to become fruitful in soul winning and to faithfully represent Christ in my words, actions, and lifestyle. May many come to know You through the testimony of my life. In Jesus' name, Amen.

*Daily Bible Reading:*
