"WHEN GOD 'SHOWS' IT TO YOU" '...Their eyes were opened and they recognised him…’   Luke 24:31 NIV ONE DAY Jesus touched the eyes of a blind man and he exclaimed, ‘I see men as trees, walking’ (Mark 8:24 KJV). In other words, ‘I see something, but it’s not completely clear yet.’ So Jesus touched him again, cleared his perceptions, removing his limitations and setting him free to become the man God made him to be. Without a God-given vision you’ll stumble through life, blind to who God is and what He can do; blind to who you are and what He can accomplish through you. Thomas Edison ‘saw’ incandescent light before the first electric bulb ever glowed. It’s what sustained him through thousands of failed experiments. Bill Gates ‘saw’ a PC in every office and home, while the so-called experts were busy announcing, ‘It’ll never happen in our lifetime.’ Forty years before Israel set foot in the Promised Land, Moses ‘saw’ it (Hebrews 11:27 NKJV). God can be doing all sorts of things, yet you don’t see them because you’re spiritually blind. Remember the two disciples on the Emmaus Road? It was only after Jesus had walked with them for seven miles and explained the Scriptures to them that we read, ‘…Their eyes were opened and they recognised Him…’ (Luke 24:31 NLT) When you begin to see God at work in your situation, your fear is diminished and your faith is strengthened. How does He reveal Himself? At church? Sometimes. But mostly He opens His Word and our understanding and we start to see Him in a way we never have before. IS THERE ANYTHING IMPOSSIBLE FOR THE LORD? "Then the Lord said to Abraham: Why did Sarah laugh and say ’Will I really have a child, now that I am old?’ Is anything too hard for the Lord?" - Genesis 18:13-14 Sara thought that it was impossible for her to have a child at her age. But the Lord said: 'Nothing is impossible for Me.' What will your answer be if God asks you: 'Is there anything impossible for Me?' Will you say: 'Would it be possible for God to solve my problem while with man it's impossible?' Just like Sara, you know that it is impossible. You might have sorrow, difficulties and worries; your children, your husband or wife might not know Jesus yet. Your family might not want to hear anything about God. They are so against it that you think: it is impossible! On the other hand, though, you believe that God is able to solve any problem. It is important to trust in Jesus with your whole heart, He says in Luke 18:27: 'What is impossible with man is possible with God.' This means that God is the God of the impossible! All things are possible, also for you. The God of the impossible God is the God of the impossible for your family, your marriage, your children and your job. You have to believe and trust that God has a way out of every difficult situation. Think and believe that nothing is impossible for God! With Him I am more than a conqueror! There is nothing that God cannot do! Do you know why this is so important? When people approach me to ask for advice and they do not believe in their hearts that God can provide for their lives, their marriage, their family, their work or any other matter, that He is able to do the impossible, then everything stops. You can call all counselors together, but they cannot help you. You can only be helped if you believe what the Bible says, which is that nothing is too difficult for God; with Him everything is possible! https://www.theblessingdevotional.com 2. Morning Prayer for today. MP.i. Morning Prayer Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: ⏤ John 11:25 Because He lives, we face tomorrow with hope and joy. ⏤ Charles Wesley Lord Jesus, who died for our sins and rose again, we worship You on this day. You are the resurrection and the life, bringing eternal life and hope to all who believe. Death could not hold You, and You have conquered it, defeating the last enemy. We rejoice today in the blessings You have given us through Your resurrection. You have faced every power of evil and have triumphed over every enemy. We have nothing to fear, not even death, for You have proven Yourself to be Lord over all, holding the keys to life and death. You will save all who trust in You. You, who once were dead, now live forever. You are our living Friend and Companion, and we trust in Your help in every need, trial, and danger. On this Lord’s day, we remember Your victory over death and ask You to lead us into a deeper fellowship with You. May this be a day of victory for us as well, a day where we overcome sin and rise to new life and hope. Help us to conquer earthly desires and enter into new freedom in You. May we experience a renewal of life. We ask that You bless this Sunday, making it a day of real spiritual growth for us and many others. Bless the churches everywhere. May Your power be with all who preach and teach Your Word today. Help us to open our hearts to receive Your love and the power of Your Holy Spirit.
