Sunday, 28th June, 2026 TITLE: "Empowered to Walk in God's Purpose" ANCHOR SCRIPTURE(S) Habakkuk 3:19 (KJV) "The LORD God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds' feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments." Ephesians 2:10 (KJV) "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them." QUOTE TO REFLECT ON "God does not merely call you to a purpose; He strengthens you to walk in it." DAY'S REFLECTION God never assigns His children to a purpose without also providing the strength to fulfil it. Habakkuk declared that the Lord was his strength and would make his feet like the feet of a deer, enabling him to walk securely upon the high places. The picture is one of confidence, stability, and victory even in difficult terrain. Paul reminds believers that we are God's workmanship, carefully created in Christ Jesus for good works that He prepared in advance for us. This means your life is not an accident. God designed you with unique gifts, abilities, and opportunities to accomplish His divine purpose. Imagine a skilled mountain guide leading climbers along a steep path. The journey may be challenging, but with proper guidance, strength, and careful steps, the summit is reached safely. Likewise, God equips His people to overcome life's obstacles and faithfully fulfil the assignments He has entrusted to them. There will be seasons when the path seems difficult, and the climb appears too steep. Yet God promises to strengthen your feet, steady your steps, and lead you where His grace has prepared the way. Your responsibility is to trust Him, obey His direction, and continue moving forward. Today, remember that the God who designed your purpose is also the God who supplies the strength to accomplish it. Walk confidently, knowing that His grace is sufficient for every step of your journey. Trusting God produces confident and steady progress. EVERYDAY ACTION Seek God's direction before making decisions. Use your gifts to serve others. Face challenges with faith and courage. Thank God for His daily strength. PRAYER Heavenly Father, strengthen me to fulfil the purpose You have prepared for my life. Guide my steps and help me walk faithfully in Your will.
