TITLE: "Planted to Bear Lasting Fruit"

ANCHOR SCRIPTURE(S)

Psalm 92:13 (KJV) "Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God."

John 15:16 (KJV) "Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you."

QUOTE TO REFLECT ON

"A life deeply rooted in God will always produce fruit that outlives the seasons."

DAY'S REFLECTION

God never intended His children merely to survive; He designed them to flourish and bear lasting fruit. The psalmist declares that those who are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish. Flourishing is not accidental—it is the result of remaining firmly rooted in God's presence, His Word, and His purposes.

Jesus expanded this truth by reminding His disciples that He chose and appointed them to bear fruit that would remain. This fruit includes godly character, faithful service, transformed lives, and a lasting impact on others. A fruitful Christian is one whose life continually reflects Christ and advances His kingdom.

Consider a healthy fruit tree. It does not produce fruit overnight. Its roots must grow deep, drawing nourishment from the soil through every season. Storms may come, and dry periods may occur, but because it is firmly rooted, it continues to grow and eventually produces abundant fruit. Likewise, believers who remain connected to Christ through prayer, obedience, and fellowship will remain spiritually fruitful despite life's challenges.

God has planted you where you are for a purpose. Whether in your family, workplace, ministry, or community, He desires your life to produce fruit that glorifies Him and blesses others. Stay planted, remain faithful, and trust that in His time your labour will yield a lasting harvest.
