There is a growing controversy concerning The Passion Translation because of plagiarism charges against the author. I never felt led to read TPT, but have attended meetings where ministers preached from it. A well-known prophetess warned Facebook friends to “Get this Bible translation out of your house now!” One woman commented in response, “it adds and takes away from the Word of God which is forbidden in Revelations.” I replied, “Look at the title of the last book in your Bible. There is no ‘s’ on the end. Isn't that adding to the Word of God?” 🤔
